The Detective Bureau provides Functional Leadership for Detective Operations Citywide, including All Specialized Detective Functions assigned to the Detective Bureau and the Detective Divisions throughout the City.
Criminal Investigation Division :[]
The Criminal Investigation Division is the current Investigative Division for the Los Santos Police Department. The Division was established on September 27th, 2021. This Division was Formed due to the Disbandment of the Robbery-Homicide Division and Gang And Narcotics Division.
Robbery-Homicide Division [Disbanded] :[]
Robbery-Homicide Division is Comprised of Five Sections (Robbery, Homicide, Special Assault, Cold Case Homicide And Special Investigation Sections). Each Section tasked with Investigating or Providing Surveillance Support for a Wide Variety of Select Crimes that are often High Profile in Nature.
Gang And Narcotics Division [Disbanded] :[]
Gang And Narcotics Division accomplishes the Task by Targeting the Manufacture, Transportation and Sale of Illicit Drugs and the Illegal Sale and Distribution of Firearms.
Operation Safe Streets Bureau :[]
The Operation Safe Streets Bureau is responsible for Providing Suppression, Intelligence And Expert Investigations Of Street Crime Gangs. The Operation Safe Streets Bureau also Provides Law Enforcement Personnel To Work On Targeted Patrols In Areas Of Gangs targeted As Active Or Violent Gangs, Gathering, Disseminating And Exchanging Information About Street Gangs With Their Counterparts As OSS Investigators Or Other Law Enforcement Personnel.
Counter-Terrorism Special Operations Bureau :[]
The Counter-Terrorism Special Operations Bureau was Responsible for providing Counter-Terrorism and Specialized Tactical Resources in support of Daily Field Activities, Unusual Occurrences and during Serious Disturbances and Elevated Threat Conditions.
Metropolitan Division :[]
The Metropolitan Division was Responsible for Provide Support to the Departments Community-Based Policing Efforts by Enhancing Community Outreach Efforts, Providing Advanced Level of In-Service Training, Providing Support to Area and Specialized Detectives Locating Known, Violent Criminals, Providing Resources for Warrant Services and the Apprehension of fugitives Throughout the City.
Special Enforcement Bureau :[]
The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) is responsible for Handling High Risk Tactical Operations Involving Barricaded Suspects, Hostage Situations And High Risk Warrant Services. The Special Enforcement Bureau also cooperates with the Metropolitan Division to carry out Special Operations.
AERO Bureau & Air Support Division :[]
The AERO Bureau and Air Support Division have responsibility for Providing Air Support Assistance To Patrols And Special Units Of The San Andreas Department of Law Enforcement, Providing Rapid Response, Tactical Insight, As Well As Airborne Incident Assessment In A Safe and Professional Manner. In addition, this unit also Provides Pick-up And Rescue Assistance In Areas That Cannot Be Traversed By Ordinary Vehicles With Helicopters. The unit also Provides Infiltration Assistance To Law Enforcement Special Forces As Well As Exfiltration Assistance.
Street Racing Bureau :[]
The Street Racing Bureau, also known as the Street Racing Unit, is the Advanced Bureau Program of the High Speed Interceptor Unit. This Bureau provides Road Safety Services From Illegal Street Races that occur in the city. In addition, this Bureau also Provides Assistance To The Special Operations Bureau/Division To Carry Out Pursuits In Special Operations And The Investigation Bureau To Assist Investigations In Racing Scenes Or Syndicates And Certain Groups.
