General Information[]
The Primary Responsibility of Metropolitan Division is to Provide Support to the Departments Community-Based Policing Efforts by enhancing community outreach efforts, providing advanced level of in-service training, providing support to Area and specialized detectives locating known, violent criminals, providing resources for warrant services, and the apprehension of fugitives throughout the City. Other assignments range from high-risk barricaded situations, stakeouts, dignitary (VIP) security, warrant service, training Department personnel in tactics and firearms along with assisting investigators in solving major crimes.
Organization Information[]
There are four field platoons (A Platoon, B Platoon, C Platoon, G Platoon), four specialized platoons (D Platoon, H Platoon, K9 Platoon), and an operations platoon (M Platoon); all platoons are supervised by a Lieutenant II as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC).
- A Platoon, B Platoon, C Platoon, and G Platoons are the citywide Tactical Response Teams T.R.T.
- D Platoon, also known as Special Weapons And Tactics S.W.A.T.
- H Platoon Municipal Executives Protection Detail, is responsible for providing security of the City Leaders
- K9 Platoon deploys highly trained handlers and their canine partners to assist any Department entity with searches for felony suspects, armed misdemeanor suspects, and crucial evidence recovery
- M Platoon personnel provide the administrative, support, training, and logistic functions for the Division.
Equipment[]
Metropolitan got many of High Quality arsenal of Weaponry and Equipment to maintain Peace inside the Los Santos. Starts from a Basic Handgun into a Fully Automatic Assault Rifle capable of taking down armed Suspect. and also from a Ford Crown Victoria into a Fully Armored Transport or known as Bearcat.
And all of that scary monster are here to Protect the Law, Order and Peace.
